Disinfection Cleaning/ Biohazard , Crime Scene & Vandalism

Certain events occur that are man-made and involve not only the cleaning aspect of our services, but also the emotional toll that comes with the loss of a loved one or their property.

Many scenarios can arise that would be deemed a bio-hazard. Some of these would include infectious diseases such as the current pandemic of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), a release of bodily fluids, chemical releases, animal feces and excrement. These types of cleanup must be handled utilizing Personal Protective Equipment and the proper containment so that no cross contamination occurs.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, All Dry has implemented a rigorous usage of CDC protocol to follow the proper steps to disinfect with special attention to touchpoint areas and also utilizing deep cleaning methods as well as a fogging application of disinfectant.  All workers wear proper PPE (personal protective gear) to follow strict NIOSH and OSHA standards.  These standards not only protect workers but also occupants who may enter the facility or structure.  Decontamination of a home or business is vital in returning a structure to a safe environmental state.  Deep cleaning is always highly recommended in Covid-19 positive cases.

We also offer a precautionary clean procedure with application of a disinfectant.  This is in situations whereby there has not been a Coronavirus test done and the occupants would feel safer to have a disinfected space before occupying it once again.  The precautionary clean can be on common areas of touch-points only, or a deep clean of all surfaces and all contents, as well as application of a green product disinfectant via a fogging method.  The disinfectants we use are EPA approved and safe for pets.

Individuals may create conditions to a property that hinders the use or ability to utilize the structure.

For example, a host of damaging aspects created by vandals, like:

  • Broken windows
  • Graffiti sprayed on the interior and/or exterior
  • Fire damage
  • Water damage

All Dry can repair and return the structure and its space to pre-loss condition by utilizing drafted and proven methods for removal, cleaning and restoration of these areas.

This scenario may involve the loss of a loved one, which in turn can take a very heavy emotional toll on any individual or a family.

We insure that the emotional needs during the cleanup process for both healing and communication are met.

When dealing with a crime scene cleanup all cleanup methods must involve strict communication with our customer and may sometimes involve law enforcement in the jurisdiction to determine what or who may have caused the crime.

Depending on the source of the crime, gunshot, puncture wounds or strangulation. Steps are taken to address each individual type of scenario.

Chinese Drywall has created numerous building envelope issues and also potential health problems.

Right after the 2004 and 2005 Hurricane seasons, building materials were in short supply and created an influx of cheaply made products, namely Chinese Drywall. Harmful gases were being emitted and creating not only adverse health effects for the occupants, but also corrosion in many metal building materials, namely copper.

All Dry follows a strict protocol concerning the removal and remediation of these issues. HEPA vacuuming and surface cleaning of all structure and substrate once all demos are completed is a vital part of having a safe and habitable building.

Once all remediation is completed, it is recommended that a 3rd party assessment and clearance company inspect and evaluate the remediation in order to issue a certification that the work was properly completed.

Soda blasting involves the use of industrial-grade sodium bicarbonate media blasted through a soda pot utilizing high pressure air. Soda blasting works great in removing mold contamination, debris and surface residues left by contaminants. All Dry also can remove various finishes such as paint, coatings and surface contamination such as rust and oxidation by soda blasting.

If you are seeking out a new look to your project, soda blasting is the way to go.

*Soda blasting cannot be applied to an occupied home, the property should be gutted. We do provide these demolition services as well as re-construction.

Sewage damage can create a host of problems. The main issues arising from sewage damage are pathogens and potential bacterial issues.

Sewage is considered to be Black Water, or a Category 3 water loss. Certain pathogens or unsanitary conditions are present immediately following the release of these fluids.

All hygroscopic material and cellulose based material must be removed to prevent the proliferation of these contaminants.

Some of the material that would need to be discarded in a sewage water damage loss are as follows: clothing, carpeting, soft flooring such as vinyl, curtains, paper goods, cardboard boxes, etc.

A solid inventory of damaged goods is always recommended to make sure that all damaged material is documented due to the concern of replacement.

Many odors originate from different sources. If there is a fire, chemical or microbial source, strict methods are set in place to address each issue.

Generally, without removal of a source, deodorization is non-effective. Any source will continue permeation of the surrounding environment by releasing VOC's, or other compounds that are eligible to create the factors warranting removal or remediation.

Light deodorization or a masking agent can be used in light cleaning situations that do not involve long term issues.

Issues that may require more rigorous odor control would be: pet issues, dander, feces, mold, fire damage, smoke or a chemical release.

Your HVAC is the lifeblood of airflow and ventilation for your home or structure.

Proper cleaning of these components is vital to make sure that airflow is balanced and also free of contaminants or particulates.

Much like we breathe, our structure must too. To provide proper conditioning, the unit and its components must be free and clear of dust, debris and potentially mold contamination.

Our technicians are NADCA certified and trained to conduct proper air duct cleaning procedures. All cleaning involves proper techniques utilizing HEPA filtration and proper sanitization methods.

In certain cases a coating consisting of mold resistant properties may be applied for added assurance and protection of the air ducting and plenums.
